How about “Whatever the F#&K he wants!”
make a Funny or Die video and the go on a stand-up tour.
Take the money, have a good time and start his own show on UStream and just rip NBC a new one!!!
I’d go to Disney World! Or, maybe start a video podcast.
Take the Fox bait for even more $ and destroy NBC in the ratings.
Way to go Conan.

I would start my own internet network, forget the suits and chillax.
If I were him I’d contact Jason for a seat at the next Open Angel Forum.
I’d put the money into moving my company to Vancouver and beginning creating mobile apps in earnest. I’d still run my business from my house, but it would be a damn fine log cabin in the mountains instead!
Work full-time on my startup and invest in great people who are pursuing their dreams.
$40 million? How about a nightly version of the “Kevin Pollak Chat Show?”
Buy NBC. They can’t be worth that much these days.
Conan needs pull a Howard Stern and become the king of Internet talk-show comedy
Why does Conan even need a network any more? If I were him I’d take the $40 million, invest $10 million of that on equipment and staff and start producing online content. He’s got the name recognition and there’s no doubt his young audience would follow him. Heck he could even buy a few million dollars worth of Roku or Boxee boxes to give away to fans so they can watch him on TV.
Web video needs a superstar to really take off and Conan’s the right guy in the right place to do it. I suspect a bulk of his audience is already watching him online anyhow via Hulu/NBC, etc.
