I’ve become a bit of a nut when it comes to redundancy at my office. Today we ordered NextWeb’s (a Covad company) “Supper-T” service which puts 7mbit on our roof (as opposed to the T1 in the ground). So, if we have an outage under ground we have the one of the roof as backup.
Has anyone else out there used this service? really interested to see how it performs.
Of course, I wish we had Verizon FIOS in Santa Monica…. that’s the real Holy Grail in my book. 30-50mbit… ohhhhhhhhhhh so nice.
