Note: Updating this post with some recent keynotes. If I don’t have you on here please let me know at jason at calacanis dot com.
Note: I’ve decided to only do keynotes for the rest of the year, and I’m trying to limit it to one per month since I’m getting 10-20 speaking requests a month and I simply can’t do that many. I used to do a ton of panels, but I’ve found that everyone gets more out of it if I’m forced to prepare for 10 hours for a keynote, really think about the topic, and present something very tight for 30-40 minutes with 10-20 minutes of Q&A. That’s the format that gets the best result, so I’m sticking with that for now.
If you’re interested in having me speak at your event please let me know as early as possible. If there is a speaking fee that’s great, but not required. If there is a speaking fee I donate it to the the Bay Ridge Prep Opportunity Scholarship fund which helps disadvantaged kids get a private school education in my home town. If you do donate to the fund for my speaking gig I will give you a massive plug on my blog and my podcast. If you pay for travel that’s great, if not that’s fine too. I don’t do speaking gigs for the money or the travel, but rather to spark debate, to meet new people, and to education myself (and the audience hopefully!).
