The NYT launches another watered-down, cookie-cutter blog today. This time they’re ripping off the most excellent Curbed with something call “The Walkthrough” (that’s their way of trying to be hip… see, they named it after an industry term–get it?). Seriously folks, do something original.
I would get into all the reasons why this blog is lame, but what’s the point… they can just hire Jeff Jarvis to fix it–
oh wait, they already did!
Update: Jeff Jarvis (aka Nick Denton’s PR department) corrects me: he didn’t consult for NYT he consulted for About.com, a division of NYT. (Jeff, I didn’t know it was only about.com… for real).
