It’s an interesting quesiton and Yahoo certainly is an interesting company. However, as an indie publisher they make me very wary.
Half of Yahoo says they are not in the content business and they want to partner and support publishers with services like My Yahoo (now with light RSS support) and the Yahoo Publisher Network/Overture.
Then there is the other side of the company which is increasingly competiting with the very same publishers the other side of their business wants to support.
I always find it funny when the folks at Yahoo say they are not in the content business and I point out things like:
They say they are not in the content business but they have a bunch of content offerings. They want publishers to use their services like My Yahoo and Overture/Yahoo Publishing Network
