Sundance 2005 Movie Reviews (or, I always wanted to be Roger Ebert)

I think my brain is going to melt I’ve seen a dozen films in three days, and I’ve written up six of them.

I’ve always dreamed of being a movie reviewerodd I knowand for the past two years I’ve written reviews from the Sundance Film Festival. Last year I wrote up Napoleon Dynamite, Open Water, and Saw before they were bought and low before most of the other trades. This year, I’m the first person to review a lot of these films again. Kind of a cool fealing because the directors sometimes thank me for covering their film (the producer of Napoleon Dynamite stopped me on the street last night in fact!).

I’m hoping that at some point soon some big magazine, indieWire, a TV network, orgasp!Netflix, asks me to do their reviews!
