Dan Farber writes a fairly obvious column titled “What’s up with blogging, and why should you care?” over at CNET/ZDNET. Nothing new or revolutionary here, but you may want to forward to someone who doesn’t know what blogging is.He sums up by saying:
Dan Farber: The combination of blogs, RSS and intelligent searchingand future generations of those technologies and concepts-may not be the 21st century equivalent of the Gutenburg printing press, but they will play an increasing important role in forming the opinions that lead to decisions big and small across personal and professional spheres.
Actually, I think blogs and RSS are going to be revolutionary. I don’t know the last time millions of people created a publishing layer on the existing media space.
