We’ve had “follow a topic” like Vark and Quora for some time, but we
just added a killer feature that let’s you set how often you want to
get alerts about questions in that vertical. We set them up to be just
like Google Alerts: Instant, Daily and Weekly.

I’ve been super low-key about Mahalo as we prepare for the launch of
M4 (Mahalo 4.0), but the project is doing amazing on all fronts:
revenue, features and traffic. Lots of amazing things I’ll show at
Future of Web Apps in London on October 4/5th.

Hewlett-Packard says CEO Mark Hurd is stepping down following a
sexual-harassment claim filed against him and the technology company
by a former H-P contractor.

H-P says Mr. Hurd decided to leave after an investigation. It
concluded the company’s sexual harassment policy was not violated, but
that its standards of business conduct were.

The technology company named Chief Financial Officer Cathie
Lesjack as its interim CEO.
