Obama offered the people hope and they said no to Bush.
So now he’s not getting out of Afghanistan like he promised.
And he’s not making a big enough commitment to stop global warming.

If he’s not carefull this will become his Vietnam war even though he didn’t start it.
I think Obama gets the big picture but I don’t think we know everything there’s to know.
What other risks are there involved?
Is the US ready to become a green tech leader?
Is it a timing issue?

He did ask for international help.
And he did make a small commitment in Copenhagen.
Both are steps in the right direction. It’s not good enough but

Considering the mess he inherited (it wasn’t just war & global warming) we should stay positive.
And encourage him to do better and offer him advice.

How dare you assess what attachments people keep to their
homelands? Would you say the same of people with a place
in their hearts for Belfast, or Jerusalem? Or Beirut in the 80s?
That’s some serious gall, calling out second generation American Muslims (a religion,
not a nationality, dimwit). Maybe you have a few “terrorists” using your site, is that okay,
as long as they’re making you money?

The real domestic threat to us these days is the mushrooming gang
problem we have, fueled by arms, meth and coke trades. But I hesitate to inform you of this, considering you’re likely to decide that the real problem is
Mexicans, or maybe Latino Roman Catholics?

The problem isn’t second generation Muslim Americans. The problem is ignorance, which makes you a glaring example of it.

Your commentary is ridiculously uninformed drivel.

While your pieces on entreprenuership are wonderful reads, these forays into foreign policy show the hard and fast limitations of your insight. Worse, replacing prejudicial tirade with any other ethnic group in your non-sense would land you in hot water in almost any other case. (e.g. Irish and IRA).
