Subject: Change in Location – Flash Mob For Burma Is Growing!

FLASH MOB NEWS AND IMPORTANT UPDATE
The Flash Mob For Burma is Gaining Traction!!!

Change in plans! So the great people at the Abbot Kinney Festival and LAPD heard that we are organizing a flash mob and contacted us. The good thing is that it turns out they are major supporters of the Causecast community. So in an effort to support us, they have moved our booth and flash mob area to an even better location!

The Causecast Booth this Sunday will now be located between California Ave & Millwood Ave, in the dead center of the festival! This will also be the same core area that we'll be dispersing from to "freeze" at 4pm. If you can't find us, look for the person wearing our pink logo as a head :) (trust us…you'll know it when you see it)

The movement is growing…CNN, BBC and MSN!! The poster that you'll be holding up on Sunday has quickly become a powerful symbol of freedom and democracy for Burma across the globe. Just this past week it has gained even greater attention by being featured on the front page of BBC News, on MSN and in other media outlets with an internationally circulated Reuters photo, as demonstrators outside of the U.N. and the G20 held it high.

With your help, this will be huge! We've received tremendous support for this campaign, internationally and locally. Thanks to the dozens of you who came by our office this week and took posters for you and your friends. If you weren't planning on coming out, please think again and join us in making history. For those of you who don't have a poster yet, don't worry. We will be passing out free Shepard Fairey posters to the first 300 people on Sunday from 10am to 3:30pm between California Ave & Millwood Ave on Abbot Kinney…so don't miss out.

Want to get more information about Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma before you come out tomorrow? Read the story behind Burma and learn how you can make a difference.

Need more info about the Flash Mob? It's all right here.

We look forward to seeing you in Venice this Sunday! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or Jonathan Kalan at Jon [at] Causecast [dot] org.

Hello, my name is Jason. Welcome to my blog on the interwebs. You can reach me on twitter @jason and by email at jason@calacanis.com. My Skype is jasoncalacanis, and my mobile phone is 310-456-4900.

I only pick up numbers I recognize, and in terms of emailing me, the best strategy is to write short, blunt and to the point requests. I can quickly respond to short messages, and many times I simply don't have the time to read five page pitches. In terms of taking meetings, I only do that after reviewing an actual product (not a business plan). So, the best time to ping me is when you have mockups or an alpha site. I don't read business plans, and I've never written one.
