Tavern in Brentwoods $9 burrata sandwich… Boring.
I really want to like Tavern in Brentwood since it reminds me of Gramercy Tavern in nyc but so far the food is unremarkable and service is horrible. Also, the cafe has a huge staff who don’t seem to know what they are doing. It’s crazy that a place like this has horrible service and next door New York Bagel is cheaper and better. —————

Tavern in Brentwood salad is tiny and $10 for arugula and walnuts… Total rip off.
I want to like this place Tavern but the service is horrific. Two times we’ve come to have coffee and a snack and two times its taken forever to get things thrown to us in a box. So much potential, so much FAIL. Like four ounces of salad for $10 and there are too stuck up to bring it on a plate or with a fork. This place will close in six months. —————
