I have to say I’m frustrated with the unsubscribe policies of many email marketers. It’s 2008 and still folks are playing tricks on users. In this Zagat email below they put the unsubscribe text in light grey on white (duh!??!), and they make you login to your account to unsubscribe. Of course, there is no link to the login page.

They could easily have a one-click unsubscribe URL…. instead I have to take five steps to get this done. Now I feel like I’m being played with by one of my favorite brands. Not good.
