Developers out of school (or not)

We’ve got an amazing team of seasoned developers at Mahalo. These guys are salty vets in large part who have been through many wars. We’ve decided to start a recruiting program to bring in computer science folks out of school (or still in school and looking to drop out) so they can learn from these old Jedi.

If you are in school/just out of school and looking for your first job in the technology industry and want to learn from a bunch of vets on a kick-butt project email me (jason at mahalo.com) and our CTO Mark (mark at Mahalo.com) with the subject line devs.

We’re not looking for specific skills sets, but rather personality types: positive, hard working, considered, and who believe in doing not trying.

Toro, a bulldog

Hello. My name is Jason.
I'm the CEO of Mahalo.com, a human powered search engine. I was previously the co-founder of Weblogs, Inc. with Brian Alvey, and the GM of Netscape.

I'm currently on the board of social shopping site ThisNext. You might remember me from my days as editor and CEO of the Silicon Alley Reporter magazine.

Mike Arrington and I partnered on the TechCrunch40 event in September. We're going to do it again next year.

This is my blog, this is where I live. You should also listen to my podcast.
