WOMMA spanks PayPerPost

Just found a link to this investigation by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) with regard to PayPerPost’s faux disclosure. WOMMA correctly points out that PayPerPost:

  • a) created a front organization called http://www.disclosurepolicy.org
  • b) That this front organization supports a level of disclosure that can only be described as a joke

If PayPerPost wants to get out of the dog house they only have to do one thing: DEMAND BLOGGER DISCLOSURE IN THE FIRST LINE OF THE BLOG POST.

If PayPerPost does this I’ll never blog about their corrosive, deceptive ways again–and I’m sure the “A list” (joking) would get off their backs too.

My guess is that PPP will take this step by their PostieCon event. On that note, they asked me to speak at their event and I didn’t bother to respond. That being said, I will have the CEO of PayPerPost on CalacanisCast the next time he’s in Los Angeles.
