Bad day for Wikipedia and digg

Wikipedia & Wikia get a really bad blackeye today. Wikipedia for giving huge power to someone who lied about their creditals, Wikia for hiring that liar, and Jimbo for brushing off the person being a liar as no big deal.

Hot off the Bury Brigadge controversy, digg is dealing with a WIRED author who paid a service to get his story on the front page of digg. Something I talked about months ago here (I didn’t mention the firm).
