We want to get a home phone system so we can easily intercom each other… anyone have any experience with two-line, intercom, home systems!? We need around eight phones…. we’re looking at these Panasonic ones that seems like a good deal at $100 a pop.

Note: I’m a fan of just using my cell phone an skype, but we need to be able to have folks buzz from the front gate and we want to be able to intercom each other, so the concept of not having a phone system is–unfortunately–not in the cards.
