Randy Falco at iMedia Summit

The new CEO of AOL just gave his first speech as the big tuna and he did a fine job. It was largely a canned presentation which showed off AOL’s various products and their stunning growth in ‘06 (which is of course due to Jon Miller’s leadership and his team).

Got a chance to say hello to Randy in the hallway and he was very likable guy, and he thanked me for everything I’d done for the company and said he was very grateful. Awwww…. big hug! :-)

I miss all my friends at AOL and wish them luck… nothing would please me more than seeing AOL have another stellar year in 2007–I’m sure they will.

Toro, a bulldog

Hello. My name is Jason.
I'm the CEO of Mahalo.com, a human powered search engine. I was previously the co-founder of Weblogs, Inc. with Brian Alvey, and the GM of Netscape.

I'm currently on the board of social shopping site ThisNext. You might remember me from my days as editor and CEO of the Silicon Alley Reporter magazine.

Mike Arrington and I partnered on the TechCrunch40 event in September. We're going to do it again next year.

This is my blog, this is where I live. You should also listen to my podcast.
