Great podcast…

TechCrunch did a great podcast Friday with Om Malik and Scoble… great discussion about digg–which Mike loves.

Om said it best, that social news sites are great for everyone. Social news helps the users find great content and helps site owners get found. Om points out that mainstream adoption is key for this trend–I agree, we’re doing it at Netscape and it’s not easy. We’ve got a lot of education ahead of us. Om also points out that the “upcoming” page is the most interesting place on digg.

Netscape devs: We really have to get our upcoming/on deck page finished… right now folks have to just watch the tracker to find stories and it really doesn’t do a great job of showing what’s breaking.
