Two years ago I blogged the Milken Conference all by my lonesome. This yearI’ve got five bloggers/vloggers with me to cover the event at www.bloggingmilken.com. When I came toMilken with the idea of blogging it two years ago they said “what’s blogging,”this year the word blog is coming up on every single panel it seems–missionaccomplished! (imagine me on the deck of an aircraft carrier in a jumpsuit:-)

This is an amazing event. When I was here two years ago Rupert Murdoch saidthat oil would reach record prices; that young Muslims in France would berioting in the streets; and we would be having major issues dealing with Chinain relation to trade balance, resource consumption, and military build up. Talkabout nailing it.

If you want to see the future this is the best place to do it.

I'm currently on the board of social shopping site ThisNext. You might remember me from my days as editor and CEO of the Silicon Alley Reporter magazine.

Mike Arrington and I partnered on the TechCrunch40 event in September. We're going to do it again next year.
