The Long Tail of Publishing…

Spent some time with Chris Andersen, editor of WIRED, at eTech and talked all about Weblogs, Inc. being a long-tail publisher. It’s true we are trying to leverage our network to build niche blogs that could not exist as magazines, cable channels, or even newsletters. Can you build a business on a bunch of blogs that only make $1,000 a month!? I’m not sure, but we’re having a lot of fun trying.

Anyway, I saw this really interesting cartoon from gapping void on Chris’ blog I think it sums it up. :-)
